That Cafe is much better now that it's under new management. (It used to be appalling!) Good breakfast options. Great if you live in the area, but probably not worth travelling to from elsewhere. Looking forward to trying their new woodfire pizzas (which they're advertising as coming soon).
To post an update... the cafe has gone back to its old standards. We won't be back.
On father's day 2010, I went with my family to the cafe. I had called earlier that morning to confirm whether bookings were required and was told come along and we would be accommodated. On entering the cafe we were rudely told that we could only have a table for 4 and that my 18month old would need to sit on my lap even though the cafe wasn't even close to being full. The food was reasonable but overpriced. All in all, it was not a good experience and I would not recommend it.
This Cafe is now under new management. The menu, staff and atmosphere has changed. They now have a lovely Manager who is extremely friendly and accommodating. I work up the road and have seen, (tasted yummy foods and drinks- they even deliver my lunch to me!) heard and experienced nothing but satisfaction ever since the change-over. I suggest you give them another go! You won't be disappointed. :)
