The Art Lounge
We went on a recent Friday night and the place was packed, but food and service was still excellent. There was a band of young guys playing really fun jazz and they were great. I'd highly recommend The Art Lounge especially on a Friday night when the jazz band plays. Book though or you probably won't get a table.
We went to Parisian Night last Thursday. Wow. How fantastic. The burlesque performer was really beautiful and the atmosphere was very chic. We shared some amazing tapas. Go for the garlic and chilli prawns. Awesome. Also, how cool, they have an art club there on Thursdays as well and we joined in. The live costumed model was gorgeous. We had a good laugh. Oh yeah. Great cocktails. The Art Lounge is very cool.
The Art Lounge is awesome. I wanted to get away from the Finger Wharf and try something different. I had this restaurant recommended to me by a friend. She loved it. I went with a group of friends last Saturday night, found an easy carpark across the road at the car wash and had the best night ever. We were only going to stay for dinner, which was outstanding, but the atmosphere was so fantastic that we stayed on and drank cocktails into the early hours of the morning. We all agreed. This is our new hang out. What a very chic little restaurant/bar. Excellent. We are all going back for Christmas drinks next weel.
I just love this restaurant. I've been here for dinner with a friend, in a small group and attended a birthday party for about 40 people. It's a great atmosphere. My favourite dish is the gnocchi with the blue cheese salad. Yum yum. The service is terrific and the location easy walking to our favourite clubs, although the last few times we didn't leave until close. This place is an institution, believe me. Love it. Love it. Love it.
