If I could go lower star rating I would, I had 4 ball joints refurbished earlier this year, at a cost $250 each which was double the the price quoted . The reason given was the extra work to repair them, these where not big ball joints, they were off a mini tractor.I could have purchased 4 new ones plus freight for $257.00 from the UK but need them urgently . As it was the turn around was nearly the same as freighting them from the UK,I do like to deal in Australia. After about 3 weeks of operation the grease nipple fell out of one I replaced it and checked the others and found they'd all come loose and couldn't be tightened. After about 6 months of operation or 60 hours one of the ball joints failed. I have order a complete new set delivered for the cost of one repaired joint. My recommendation would be to look at all other alternatives before using this service.
It caused us some concern when we stumbled upon this damaging review.
Made worse by the fact that we were never given the opportunity to rectify the problem, as we do offer a warranty on all our work.
When these ball joints were sent to us, we rejected them and then contacted the firm who sent them, with concerns for the worn condition of the Chinese ball joints metal. ...read more
