The Basement

Absolutely love this place, not far from Circular Quay railway stop or ferry stop. It's part of Sydney's history. It's the go-to place of you love jazz. I've seen international acts here, such as Luka Bloom, but the other night I saw a band do covers of Paul Kelly songs, and it was superb. Not many venues where you can sit down, listen to live music and be served dinner and drinks, so it is a complete night out. Each time I've eaten here the food had been good, great chicken dish last week. Great drinks too. It's just greys to know that they still have the right formula and I hope they never change. It a must.
