The Bay View Cafe

Went to the "cafe"...wouldn't even call it that today. What a disgrace! Service was one the worst I have ever experienced! Rude... slow.. uninviting. The "cafe" was dirty.. coffee machine looked filthy! I would hate to see the kitchen. An inspector is needed. Milk for the milkshakes wasn't even in the fridge! I ordered coffee to take away and waited 25 minutes. I gave up in the end.. asking for my money back. That also almost turned into a battle despite having to wait for the owners to get their acts together. I would not return even if I was dying of thirst or hunger.. if it was the last shop on earth! Being Easter Sunday one would think they were organised and had staff on board for the rush. STAY AWAY!

worst service I've never had in Australia!!!

We were international visitors. We went to this caf and ordered two meals for lunch because we had a late breakfast and were not very hungry. When the staff brought the meal out, we asked them whether they can please give us some spare plates and fork so we can share. They said yes but never came back.

So my friend went to the counter to ask the person if they could pls give us couple of plates and forks but surprisingly this person said NO!!! Of course, my friend asked why and they said:" I don't know where are you from but in here we don't do that." I was so surprised by the attitude response because we thought this was such a common practice. I thought this is really rude and felt some being discriminated.......With this kind of service, am definitely not recommend this caf to anyone
