While I wouldn't go as afar as saying that this place is my favourite pub in Byron Bay, it is still a pretty cool pub. In fact it seems to be one of the pubs that pretty much seems to attract a bulk of the holiday makers, and it isn’t all that hard to see why. It is actually quite a large pub with a huge beer garden out the front that looks out over the ocean. They also have some really nice beers on tap, which is always something that I am going to appreciate. Sure, it isn’t my favourite, but it is up there.
Oh what a night! I haven't danced this much in years. Bit weird when the DJ dropped "My heart will go on" in the middle of his set, but we won't hold that against him. Drinks were flowing (and quickly) and there was plenty of room to dance (and a sizeable smokers area too, if that interests you). Definitely one of the best party spots in Byron.
It was a bit rainy the day we went which meant it wasn't too busy. Good thing is there is plenty of outside seating with umbrellas which protected us from the rain and still gave us a chance to sit outside. We were there a few days before Easter and they were advertising a good weekly line up of musicians including a fave Lisa Hunt.
