The idea of sand on the floor was alot of fun!
However the service, food and pricing really lets this place down. We were so excited but let down immensely. The meals came out luke warm and we had to chase them up for food and drink several times. Such a shame, this place could have so much potential
With sand on the floor and a welcome greeting, the Beach Shack is perfect for a special occasion, treating visitors to Port Douglas or just a family dinner. We have been coming to the Beach Shack on average of once a week for 3 years now and never cease to be impressed with the standard of food, service and ambinece. Seafood, steak, vegetarian and kids all very well catered for. A must when in Port Douglas.
