This is another of those pubs that I would recommend passing by for greener pastures since there isn't anything about this place that really caught my attention. Okay, it does have a Greek restaurant on the second floor, and there is a deck on the third floor (which tends to be full of smokers, and is pretty dark as well at night). I simply came here once just to check it out, and now that I have looked around the place I have to say that it hasn't really inspired me all that much. It's probably one of those pubs to meet up with friends and head off elsewhere, or simply to have a few drinks if no one can agree on another place to go to, however there isn't all that much here that is all that great and I would suggest other pubs in the area.
A really nice place to sit back on a terrace and relax in peace in the middle of a hugely cosmopolitan bustling city. The food is relatively average and there isn't an extensive menu but it is a nice place to come for a drink and escape the crazy busy streets of Sydney below.
Not a venue I would recommend, staff were unwilling to have a conversation Or smile at me. Food took far too long and they did not have any of the wines I asked for stocked leaving me feeling rather silly. Oh and there's no toilet paper in the bathroom. They're welcome for my presence.
A pretty relaxed venue. I've only been on week nights with friends from work. Bar staff seem efficient and friendly. There is a good selection of bar food available which is great for picking/sharing. Not too busy, so you will get a table and stools. Moderately sized (not huge).
My friends and I visited the Belvedere for a couple of drinks and a catch up. I appreciated the outdoor area as you could smoke out there which is becoming quite rare in Sydney. The drinks were reasonably priced with the best value being the pints. I wasn't overly impressed with the champagne selection but if you are happy to pay a little more for a cocktail I would recommend the Long Island Tea.
For a little pub, I must say that the food was very nice and quite reasonably priced. Overall, a great little to kick back with friends after work and have a few drinks
