I had to add my review to this because we've gone here several times and found the chips and souvlakis to be really great. In fact much better than elsewhere in the area. Not sure if it's changed hands since the bad reviews below, or they are just a few outliers in what otherwise seems like a good fish and chip place!
Just bit into a limp and completely raw piece of fish, being pregnant this is really not good. Called up to provide feedback that they should be more mindful to ensure that fish is fully cooked and they didnt really know what to say - well a good start would have been to just say that they will ensure fish is cooked in future! I would have written it off as 'one of those things' but this same thing happened about 12 months ago when I was there and I was trying to give them a second chance. On Good Friday this year they also ran out of fish and basically everything except chips by 6:30 - so basically they can't cook and they can't cater to their customers. This is strike 3 I will NEVER be going back no matter what. This place used to be great now its just a joke - go elsewhere.
Nothing worse when you have been a regular at a place and you call to place an order at 8:15, when they say they are open til 8:30 and they won't take your order as the grill has already been cleaned. I asked if they would please prepare a souvlaki and 2 grilled flakes plus heaps of the usual. I was told I would have to go elsewhere!! Poor, very poor and I have gone elsewhere
5 years ago, I would have agreed with Todd. Now? It is a joke at the thin pieces they give you considering the price of flake these days. Great chips, tiny potato cakes (they do not give extra when you are given those tiny crappy ones either). Look elsewhere unless you want a burger.
