I have always found Geoff and Brian to be very helpful and what comes through is their passion for cycling. I have been shopping there for a number of years - and they cater for the full range of cyclists - from people looking for a basic mountain bike-commuter to roadies and trackies looking for a top end machine. Their prices are more than competitive and they have heaps of stock in an offsite warehouse - so they can always find you the right bike. Most importantly - you get really good outcomes with bike servicing and advice after the initial purchase,
From the very first time I came into the shop I received exceptional service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable & patient in answering all my questions. Rob was just wonderful in helping me, he organized for everything I wanted to be attached to the bike. He was very courteous, professional & made me feel very welcomed. It is so hard to find exceptional customer service but at The Bike Barn that's the norm. The atmosphere in the shop is such that you don't want to leave. Every staff member is just wonderful, they have an excellent attitude & a friendly demeanour. I highly recommend them. I was so impressed with them that I bought 2 bikes even though I only planned to buy one for my son. It was a win/win situation.
I went to so many other bike shops and found the staff so condescending and their prices over the top, until someone recommended the The Bike Barn. Geoff was so helpful, got me what I wanted at a fair price, I bought a set of Dura Ace wheels, then a bike for my son and a scooter, then a Cervelo R3. Tristan set it up perfectly and is always helpful in making minor adjustment for me. Also a great bunch of guys to ride with Saturday mornings and have taught me some much needed riding skills. I've now gone from being a hubbard to racing competitively.
Where Do I start, management treated me like rubbish, was rude, arrogant, and very condescending!!!.. This is the most disgusting unbelievable customer service i have recurred in my life!!!.... I would stick to other bike shops who are interested in treating you good. Keep away from this shop!!!!
Yesterday I was at barn looking for 2 bikes for me and my daughter..we chose cycles and were looking for accessories and their staff was not really helpful and keep repeating that staff can't spend much time with me as its a busy day and customer are waiting for them and I really got offended when staff repeated this third time as I asked them if they wait for other customer then who am I..I was there to purchase worth of $800 but just gave up as I got really annoyed...waste of my time and I couldnt believe the attitude of this staff. Barn needs to send sales for customer service training.
