The blowout bar

Worst service, rude manager. Definitely won't be going back, don't waste your time. Blow dry is sub par. Honestly some advice to you girls: if you want to spend your life in customer service then learn how to love your job otherwise I suggest you pursue another line of work!!

I got my hair and make up done for an event at the Blowout Bar last month. The hair turned out not bad (however my fringe was left unstyled and without hairspray) but the make up was so horrible I considered not going to the event. I told the make up artist I wanted 50s style. She made my skin a shade lighter which made me look really harsh in photos, and also applied it so heavily I looked cake faced and it wasn't blended in properly. She made my top lip line very high, very close to my nose (like how she'd done her own make up) and I had to ask twice for it to be lowered to my natural line but it was still quite above it in the end. Also I'd told her in advance I wanted fake eyelashes but when I got there she'd run out and I had to run to the chemist mid way through to buy them but within an hour of the event one was falling off.

Under new management!
Booked an appointment for a wash and blowdry at $65. Was welcomed beautifully into the salon. I had spoken to the stylist how I wanted my hair style and she nailed it! I was soo happy with my hair, lasted me 5 days and I am happy to recommend to all my family and friends! I found out tgere was new management since the end of october and the salon looked really busy and had a positive vibe. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

NEW MANAGEMENT!
Was welcomed with such a positive vibe and was told there was a new manager since the end of October. I Paid $65 for a wash and blow-dry. I had the best shampoo and treatment at the salon for $20 extra.
The stylist did exactly what I asked for and nailed it!!
I was soo happy with my hair it lasted 5 days.
Happy to go back again and will highly recommend to everyone!!!!!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE. The manager was horrifically rude, asked me a hundred times how I want my hair done. She is suppose to be a manager with experience?? She had such attitude and asked me to leave with WET hair when she knew I WAS a LOYAL customer. I will never go here again or recommend this salon. I went to the hair salon next door and the hairdresser did not need any direction, a completely perfect experience unlike at the Blowout Bar!
