The Boathouse Palm Beach

Genius. They finally have a little pop up coffee bar which is the best idea ever. It means we can grab a coffee on the go instead of lining up inside for twenty minutes at peak times. So happy!!!

A beautiful waterfront setting, quirky decor and good food makes The Boathouse at Palm Beach such a nice place to visit. The restaurant is decked out with fresh produce and flowers, making it a feast for the eyes. They have a number of seating options - front, indoors and out the back on the deck. Weekends can get a bit ridiculous - it's so popular with locals and day trippers, so you'd easily be waiting at least 15mins to order. However, the food is good, so if you have the time, it's a lovely place to visit after having a walk around Palm Beach or visiting the lighthouse.

There's nothing better than getting out of the city for the day and driving here for lunch and a walk on the beach. Stunning location, great food and friendly service. Love the cakes and often buy a bunch of fresh flowers too!

I traveled from south east Sydney for this divine escape... and you need to make it a day trip if you are coming all the way from Sydney- cos quick is not a word in the boathouse dictionary here, and busy has a whole thesaurus! Worth the wait here (despite some rude patrons) the food was great, view and surrounding environment outstanding and company even better.

A lovely setting, i can see why this place is a popular location for weddings and parties. Worth the trip, but allow for plenty of time to enjoy/park/and do anything beachy. Be prepared to part with some $ also, not something that can be achieved on a low budget (but why would you want to!)

The Boathouse is so beautifully decorated it is hard to dislike anything about it, especially with that amazing view over Pittwater. The food is nice and fresh but on the pricey side for what you get. Saying that the staff have always been extremely friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit!
