Avoid being a larger group that has to have their banquet
It is not good value and the banquet was lacking to say the least. There seemed to be a lot of food but the table was very narrow so was all along and brought very quickly so while the table seemed full it was a bit like trying to have all your guest's entrees and mains squeezing onto the table. Were also cajoled into the drinks package - again - I would never want to do that again - wine was not great and while the first glass came quite quickly, follows ups were slow and twice someone from our table had to get up and ask for a refill. It was disappointing as when we have been as a couple of small group where we can order from the menu it has been fine.
Cool place for a drink - the menu has a lot of good options which I will defiantly return to try. On this instance I sampled the barrel aged cocktails; the cherry cola rum old fashioned! Worked well togher - a good version of an old fashion. Set up / decor inside was also pretty cool.
Went here for a bite to eat before going to the nearby Ensemble Theatre. The food and drinks were good, I just felt like a geriatric as there were lots of pretty young things in the place, nothing wrong with that, but, let's just say it's a fun place for people
under 50! We stood up at our bar table to eat our food, I can't recall
If they have sit down tables too.
