I am not one to complain and it has all been an unfortunate set of circumstances. From ordering the dress to it arriving way too big and then having to foot the 500 bill for alterations to make it my size. I was told when I ordered it it would include bra cups and would only be slightly too big at waist. I since bought a Chinese dress and that is an x large, how can I be so small in one shop and large in another? We did speak directly about our disappointments, however they seemed more concerned at being right and taking the money. I always like to write glowing reviews, however this has not been a good experience. I like to support small businesses, however with that I believe I was naive and was too trusting. I was hoping we could negotiate and talk it through, but such a shame. Just would like others to know, to ask exactly about costs and if your a small size please go to another store :)
Fantastic! Supportive Fiona saved me when a dress I had mail ordered did not come. 3 days before my wedding (in 45 degree heat!) I was saved by a visits to Upwey. Fiona had me custom fitted into a dress much nicer than the one I had ordered and by the Saturday I had gone from Bidezilla to beautiful bride! Thanks again Fiona, you saved my wedding (and my sanity too).
got my bridesmaid dress, and jewellery for bride and bridesmaid from these fantastic ladies. Were happy to make out of hours appts and were so amazingly helpful - and prices - significantly lower than everywhere else! Just amazing.
