The Brisbane Jazz Club

The home of Brisbane's jazz scene, this former boat-house on the banks of the Brisbane river was converted into a danceclub for jazz fans in the mid 1970s. Great for weddings, parties, functions, hanging out with your mates, and has a healthy roster of inveterate local jazz bands and solo singers. Both my dad and sister have been involved with the running of this venue over the last few years, and will continue to be a great hub of live jazz entertainment.

If you haven't been to the Brisbane Jazz Club, you dont know what you are missing! The 'home of live jazz' offers exceptional music performed by talented local, national and international artists, 3 nights a week, every week! Admission, food and drinks are all very reasonable. But its the view from the back deck, looking across the Brisbane River, coupled with exceptional music, and a staff of volunteers, that makes a night at the Brisbane Jazz Club wonderful!
