THE CARTER SYDNEY was a marvellous find. If, like me, you are beyond your clubbing ballin age then I highly recommend a quiet weeknight early dinner here so you can smash some epic food and drinks and still get home in time to watch some Netflix before a 10pm beauty sleep. If you are still capable of dancing ten kilos off on the dance floor while slamming Patrón shots in-between swigging Veuve out of the bottle hit this place up on the weekends for epic food, cocktails and one frakking awesome hip hop venue. Full review is now up on Spooning Australia.
If you're looking for soul food, look no further! Featuring the Obama Fried Chicken Waffles with watermelon and house hot sauce and a side of maple and vanilla ice cream. This is the perfect share dish (or not)! Theres not much to explain, besides that the chicken is seasoned and fried flawlessly. Christmas season just doesnt feel right when you're not bending the rules and dipping juicy southern fried chicken into your dessert! Let the festive season begin!
Located on O’Connell Street close by to Wintergarden. They had a relaunch of their new menu so offered free burger and chips to the first 200 customers.
We lined up with other eager diners wanting to try this out and the queue moved quite quickly and efficiently. Service wasn’t bad. The offer was a free Cheeseburger with a side of chips. They handed you a number and you chose a seat and waited for your order. Weirdly enough since everyone was here for the offer, the staff kept searching for the numbers you were given even though the orders were identical? Seemed slightly inefficient in my mind. Once the food was delivered to us we scoffed it down quickly. The burger was okay and the chips were lovely.
