From the outside this place does little for me but inside it is amazing how big it is both in size and in what they offer. This place is made for beer and hot food, all sorts of burgers and meaty type hunger feeders. The only issue for me is that I was the oldest person there when I dropped in. It caters largely for a younger set, or at least in the early evening when I passed.
Sometimes you have one of those lucky accidents happen to you, and mine was the East Brunswick tram stopping outside the Melbourne Museum due to track faults. As such I ended up having to walk (though I would have done that anyway because I was getting off at this stop) and I discovered this bar. I have to say that I really love this bar. At first I thought it was quite small, but upon sticking my head through the archways I discovered an upstairs area with a pool table and a pretty decent beer garden out the back. The two things that really impressed me was the blackboard where they had all of their beers listed, and the old CRT TV set that had been converted into a fish-tank. Not surprisingly they had a small catfish inside. What is especially cool about this bar is that it is on my way home from work so I can see myself coming here again, and again.
