The Channon Village Campground
Farm camping close to general store, tavern and coffee shop as well as Nightcap National Park.The Channon Village Campground is situated next to Coronation Park, where the famous Channon Market is held on the second Sunday of every month. This small peaceful campground offers 10 spacious, shady, grassed sites, with flush toilets, town water and cold showers. No powered sites.
Fireplaces are provided and wood is available for $10 per bag.
Dogs are not permitted because resident koalas may walk through the camp at any time of day or night.
The campground is in a working farm. It is within easy walking distance of The Channon store, tavern and coffee shop and is on the school bus route from Lismore. Nightcap National Park with its World Heritage rainforest is 15 km away (no camping allowed there).
$10 per adult per night, $5 for children between 6 and 12, children under 6 are free.
We like to keep this campground quiet at night. If you intend to party hard please give this place a miss.
