The Cheesecake Shop

It's hard to find something not nice to say about a shop with so many nice things to eat! I've ordered all sorts of cheesecakes from here, my favourite is the caramel, it is so delicious and filling - can easily feed us and visitors and still have leftovers to sneak in at night while everyone's asleep... Their prices can be a bit on the high side but they do often have seconds which taste just as yummy but are cheaper due to a flaw in something.

Picked up my sons birthday cake from here because friends know the new owners. Really glad I did - it was great. Very very nice job by the staff there. Thanks for making my sons birthday special. Pretty sure its under new management which I am sure has made a big difference.

Worst experience in ordering a cake. I was told they could put a white ganache on a chocolate mud cake. Three days later and my third visit to the store I am told it is too hard to do but I could Google it and do it myself!. Worker could not take an order. I was not complaining about the staff though as I had spoken with the management and that putting a white ganache on a chocolate mudcake is "too hard" for them to do. Don't bother ordering anything from here. They were not even sorry. I spent ages making the outside decorations that were going with this cake and eventually made the top myself that night with limited baking experience. The staff are irrational in their explanations and the didn't know a) how to take an order, b) what size the cakes are ( even though there are basically 2 sizes there ) and finally they can't be too skilled or organised if even with 3.5 days before picking up the cake they wouldn't/couldn't put a simple ganache on a cake for a ...read more
