i brought my 11 year old here for a treat as i had read about this place on the internet. The cashier was moody and miserable. Clearly she wanted me to get on with giving my order as she had better things to do. I figured that with service like this i wont be back anyway... I ordered a chocolate pavlova. We normally love our pavlovas, but this didnt taste much like pavlova, but more like an overload of chocolate and cream. Although the strawberries were nice. We also had mud cake which we both liked. However, our biggest issue was that we were very disappointed with the drinks. I had iced mocha and it was the worst i have ever had. My daughter had an iced chocolate and it was pretty horrible. If you have a sweet tooth or simply a chocolate lover like myself than this place is just heaven on earth. Small caf, one of Melbournes hidden gem, located in the arcade of Bourke Street Mall. I ordered the milk hot chocolate, the chocolate are from Belgium. A very rich texture, which would be expected for one of this hot drink but was simply divine in one of these cold Melbourne weather. One of this would set you back about $6.70. The service was great, quick and efficient. Was hoping to have a cake to go with the drink as it was so rich in taste that it was filling on its own. Id love to come back for the ice coffee that everyone has been talking about, but would need to wait some time until the weather is much warmer again. One of the best hot chocolate place and would highly recommend!
