Pubs & Bars
The Cidery Bar & Kitchen
Rydges World Square, 389 Pitt St
Sydney, NSW, 2000
This is actually the bar for the Rydges Hotel, but while I’m not a huge fan of hotel bars, this one is actually pretty good. Actually, at first I thought it was just a typical bar until I decided to go an check it out. At first I was wondering if it was open, but I should have realised that it was simply because there were people inside drinking. The bar itself was pretty dark, but then again it was about 11:00 at night, but I was still able to sit there and read a book. The chairs are all quite comfortable, the staff really friendly, and they also had a pretty decent selection of beers on tap. Also, I should mention that the beers were also pretty cheap as well. By the way, don’t let the name confuse you, it is more than just a cider bar.
