The Club

what has happened to this place!! I used to love coming down here a few years back and enjoy some solid dancing as it was the only place that played good old rnb music ! I recently returned to be very disappointed. The crowd seems very protentious compared to what it used to be. I also have a friend that used to work there that was always encountering issues with pay.

They hired my models to do a fashion show almost 5 months ago, i worked day and night finding them the right staff for this fashion event, they promised vip seating, open bar and payment in full, the night however turned out to be very embarrassing for not only my staff but also the other staff who were extremely unhappy, it was unorganised and nobody showed up, there was no vip seating, no organisation what so ever, my staff to date have not been paid by them and somebody rang fire alarm and all people were evacuated from the club, I have attepted on many occasion to speak with the management but the staff are very rude and continue to tell me they will call me back, this has not happened to ...read more

Oh man, did Julian Tobias get it right! theclub may not be as grandeur in size as some others, but it packs a punch. The crowds are often sprawling with the trendiest people in Sydney - no doubt a result of the Door Person's keen eye and appreciation for those who party in style. If you aren't on a guest list, arriving early is ideal as on busy nights the line to get in can be phenomenal. Drinks pricing is pretty consistent with the rest of Kings Cross. Every time here is guaranteed to be a good night - did I mention the fabulously tacky decor and stripper poles? Perfection in a club at theclub.
