The Coffee Barun
The Coffee Barun is Adelaide's newest artisan Coffee Roastery & Espresso Bar. Located just 7kms North of the CBD, The Coffee Barun marries an exquisite range of coffee with a fresh menu of light meals and homemade treats. Seating is available in the intimacy of the Espresso Bar or the atmosphere of the alfresco area.
All menu items at The Coffee Barun are made fresh to order. Our guests enjoy the simplicity of home cooked recipes and old fashioned value. Menu favourites include an all day breakfast menu, "The Barun Burger", our classic Ceasar Salad and a yummy assortment of sweet delights, mostly baked on site for absolute freshness.
The rear of the Espresso bar is home to an impressive display of freshly roasted coffee beans, espresso machines, accessories and cleaning products. Personalised service & training is available for all types of commercial and domestic espresso machines, and we are always happy to offer advice & tips as to how to make the most of your coffee machine.
At The Coffee Barun we pride ourselves on our product quality, customer service & most importantly product freshness. We aim to supply the freshest coffee beans available and roast on site to ensure the beans are not spoilt by lengthy storage. After personally selecting Arabica beans of the highest quality, we roast them to perfection, resulting in full flavoured, aromatic coffee.

Visited a few times now, consistent top quality coffee and delicious food in a wide open, well lit industrial style setting. They offer espresso from a 3-group synesso, batch brew and cold drip. They also sell a range of single origin beans and basic barista tools and accessories. Worth a visit!
Great coffee, nice food. The atmosphere inside is quite nice - nice decor etc. The service is fine, I have not had a problem with customer service at all. Outdoor seating is minimal - which is okay because it is on Main North Road - but more outdoor seating would = another star.
Was so excited to see a place that looks so great.. But they get a big zero Out of ten! Ordered waffles for breakfast. Received one crispy little waffle with 3 strawberries, a scoop of ice-cream, and melted chocolate that stuck to the plate like concrete. Great value for $15.90! Bad food. Will Never return and do not recommend!!!
The coffee is always superb - best I have had anywhere in Adelaide. Breakfast food is incredibly delicious, as is their bruschetta for lunch. If you can get a savory muffin early enough, then you are in for a treat. The service is always friendly, and it is a busy place. Highly recommended, and worth traveling for.
