i've been here a few times with a girlfriend who insists we go.
we have different opinions on this coffee shop - she loves it, but i think because its convenient. i however think everything is pretty average. the chairs are uncomfortable, it seems so crazy cluttered. the sugars on the table are very out dated these days. the shop seems dark and even a bit gloomy. the food is very ordinary, and the coffee -- well its just coffee. mehhhh not great, but not terrible
Im disgusted with my visit to hallett coves coffee club! I went for breakfast this morning with a few friends and were treated so disrespectfully. After we ordered we had a staff come up and tell us they had none of the add on food available, I don't have a problem with that but normal service would think to offer a refund or a alternative but no nothing! We could of walked off payed for food we didn't get. I had been warned about the service here but it still didn't stop me but now I know why it has such a bad name. The management really needs to talk their staff.
Absolutely fantastic. I come here weekly and am never disappointed. There aren't too many staff here, so you quickly become very friendly with all of them. Perhaps one of my favourite moments is when the young blonde curly haired girl (Jemma, I think it is) makes my latte. Her coffee is hard to beat and is always complete with a cute little heart shape. I also enjoy the exceptional food served here. My favourite is the classic bacon, eggs, tomato and toast with scrambled eggs. It's always served to me exceptionally fast and the young gentleman Ryan butters my toast perfectly. Definitely worth a visit.
