The Coffee Club

Went here twice and both times Coffee was burnt so never going again

I have never met a more rude,and dismissive as the staff who claims to own the rouse hill coffee club franchise. After boycotting this restaurant approx. 18 months ago after being treated VERY rudely by this staff, I decided to give the place another go, mostly because its one of the only places in the area to serve all day breakfast. My experience this time was even worse than the occasion which lead to the boycott! I was charged $20.00 for a simple omelette - an extra $3 for olives, which the stafff assured me would be a straight swap for the tomatoes I elected to remove from my omelette. When I asked this staff member why I was being charged for something I didn't order (the tomatoes) they told me "whether I choose to eat the tomatoes or not its my problem and that they don't swap menu items and that they would not be removing the $3 surcharge from my meal" They then proceeded to be very rude and dismissive, literally serving the people behind me by ...read more

I went to Rouse Hill Coffee Club when pregnant and they served me RAW EGG!!! This was supposed to be well cooked poached egg as part of the "canadian breakfast"! I was MORTIFIED as that is so dangerous when pregnant and I didn't see underneath it until I was half way through eating it! It could have seriously harmed me & my unborn baby - even caused death and all the management said that I should have told them before I ate my meal (half was left) and then offered us a free coffee (NOT EVEN A REFUND!!!!) I could NEVER step foot in there comfortably again, it still upsets me so much when I think about the risky situation & carelessness they put me through.

I have just been to the Rouse Hill Coffee Club and I would not recommend it to anyone because:* The service was slow *They were under-staffed *They didn't apologise after making mistakes with orders and over charging us (after charging us for food they did not provide they did return the money when we pointed out the mistake but they did not apologise) and when we got the number of the main manager they were even worse, not even willing to apologise and agree to try and improve their service. Never going back to another Coffee Club!
