Had to laugh reading about people talking about their meals here. I didn't even get mine! I definitely ordered it as I pointed out to the the dish I wanted in the menu to the wait staff, but only my lunch companion's meal was delivered. And for some strange reason they have a table for smokers right directly in front of their door, meaning smoke gets sucked into the building. Unfortunately for us, this table was occupied by a chain smoker. We gave up, paid for the one meal and left. This was my second bad experience here (the first involved inedible food)...definitely won't be back.
Visited here again today and although it wasn't very busy it took a while (perhaps ten minutes) before a wait staff approached us to take our order. The wait staff was very short with my friend and I, staff didn't smile, and we got the feeling staff was in a bad mood. Also, when I ordered a cappuccino, taff asked "skinny cappuccino?", and of course I was a little taken aback as I hadn't said 'skinny cappuccino'. My friend and I laughed it off and I didn't say anything about it as I think the wait staff was just distracted, I don't believe staff meant to offend. However I feel that if the wait staff had have suggestively asked the same question of a larger person they may have taken offence to it. Coffee was good though, as always.
Great place to catch up with friends over coffees, don't know about the food as besides coffee I have only ever had chips and nachos (which were good), but the coffees and the hot chocolates are great. The wait to get a simple coffee out is very long though. I have been here many times and sometimes they have forgotten about my coffee! But the ambience is great outside as it's in the Knox Ozone, and is always busy day or night (I love busy environments), it is in the perfect spot. It's just the wait that annoys me sometimes.
