The Comic's Lounge

Ive been quite some time since Ive return back here. A few weeks ago caught up with a few friends and decided to watch a show. The acts are mostly always good; however, I still find that there is quite some repeats with when the same comedian are up there. Nevertheless, always still a good laugh, great atmosphere, vibe and crowd. The tickets are relatively cheap, most of the time theyre offering discounts as most of their revenue I would assume are made from the bar or dining options. The bar is never short of a queue, lots of people always queueing up for a drink or 2.

Ive been to the comic lounge on numerous occasions, and each time its just been great each time. The comedians they have are a mix of great acts. If you go on a regular basis youll tend to find the same comedian with similar or same acts, nevertheless its always been a good laugh. Theyre quite good in arranging a booking for you if you call in advance to have a table reserved, highly recommended if youre coming in a large group. The only slight downside for this place is probably the meal $25 would get you a 2 course meal over the weekend, choice from meatballs or dips as entre. Opted for the meatballs and the main there are a selection of chicken parma, fish & chips, pasta. There was a group of us and we had a mix variety of different dishes and all had thought the meal was average for the price paid. This is such a wonderful place to pass an evening, especially, if like me, you love to laugh! It's such good value and has wonderful comedians. You will be surprised at how many wonderful comedians live right here in Melbourne. You can get a meal if you wish or just drinks. Great staff and service! Parking is a bit of a pain so be warned that there is a dearth of parking and innumerable restrictions to be mindful of.
