Don't stay here this has got to be one of the worst hotels in Australia. On another site I noticed that 82% of respondents had advised potential customers to stay away. I only wish I had read the reviews before we booked!!!!!
The room we booked and paid for was disgusting...if I had pay 30 or 40 dollars that might have been one thing but this room was not even 3 stars and the fee was $200!!!!
The carpet was dirty looking, there were cobwebs and a taped up louvre window in the bathroom and no less than a hole kicked in the wall. The furnishings were tired and dirty...I couldn't imagine lying on the mattress let alone showering in the bathroom.
We ditched the room though with no offer of a refund of our money and stayed up the road at a very nice, CLEAN motel.
Stayed in an upstairs room with a fabulous view of the beach. The waves could be heard splashing in on awaking in the morning which was really nice. The bathroom had a strong dampness smell which may have been an unwashed shower curtain. The door was very flimsy and didn't really feel very safe. Otherwise it was a very comfortable room in a wonderful position central to the beach, pier, shops and restaurants.
