My husband had the okonomiyaki and I had the breakfast gnocchi - both unusual andvery tasty options on the meu. I am looking forward to trying the miso mushrooms next. Our oldest ordered scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and the eggs were fluffy and soft. Our toddler's turkish toast was lightly toasted as requested.
Overall a delicious meal at a lovely location. The playground across the road is excellent for the littlies.
Coonanbarra Cafe has been a regular coffee haunt of mine for years. While the lunch and dinner menu are quite pricey and cater to the upper end of the casual dining market, I love dropping in here for coffee and a light snack. The location - right opoosite Wahroonga Park - provides a quiet little urban oasis and is extremely popular with young families. A great little place off the main drag of Wahroonga, its one to keep in mind when you're looking to try something new.
This cafe/restaurant is perfectly situated opposite a fantastic park near the railway station. You can sit at a table or buy take away coffee and watch your children playing in the park. Open for coffee, lunch and dinner and very popular on weekends. You can always find parking nearby and while several hours away relaxing in the greenery and enjoying what the cafe has to offer. A great place for the family or dinner for 2!
No place better to sit on a bright and sunny day! The food is great especially for breakfast. Or take a coffee away and sit in the park opposite. Either way its a wonderful restaurant to visit. I go there on mothers and fathers day regularly and the service is always great!
