The cottage itself is nice, however you are on a property on your own. The property has no on site office to assist. The TV had bad to no reception: this is something that wasn't new to the owner as it had been mentioned on prior reviews. When on the phone the owner 'was happy to wait' while you re tuned the TV. Being in a remote area reception was in and out so staying on the phone was useless, especially while waiting for the TV to return (something that we did 3 times while being on the phone alone). The owner made no effort to come and resolve the issue or offer a solution. Being winter it would have been nice to relax in the warmth watching TV but this wasn't an option. If you go ahead and stay here I recomend bring DVDs, a USB or board games. The toilet was continuously running. We arrived to it running and felt that it had only just been cleaned, however soon found out that unless you turned the toilet off it would keep running. The fan in the toilet was ...read more
