I usually get my hair cut in the elizabeth salon and I was in the City and saw the same name so I decided to get my hair cut there. The staff were so lovely and I was so happy with my haircut. It is nice to know that I can get my hair done at either salon and be happy with the result.
I was visiting Adelaide in January for two days, I decided to have a trim and blowdry as we were going out with our friends that night. I walked into The Cross Cut Salon and was attended to immediatley by Thila. The best trim and blowdry I have ever had! I could not believe how much time she took to trim my hair, and the blowdry was amazing!
I live on the Gold Coast, and I have not found any one who can do as good a job as Thila did.
She is amazing, and I do wish Adelaide was not so far away, as I would be flying down regulary to have Thila do my hair.

I went into this place today and was so disgusted with the rudeness of the 3 staff members behind the counter. They did not treat me like a customer at all. I will never be coming back to this shop ever again and recommend others to enter at their own risk. I later walked a few meters down rundle mall and saw another hairdressing place with steps going down. When I entered and asked for the same service, I was treated with respect and this is how everyone should be treated. To own a family business is not anything to bragg about when you cannot even give good customer service, You should be ashame of yourself cross cut hair staff.
Worse hair salon ever!
I went to cross cuts in the city after a whole new look. When the staff asked what I had wanted I told them the type of colours I wanted. Now, I'm not a fuss person. Basically, all I wanted was a new colour, new look! I put my trust in the hairdresser because you know hairdressers know best, it's their profession not mine. But instead I came out looking exactly the SAME! That whole time to look the same and they knew I wasn't impressed. The hairdresser literally took my outside with a mirror to show me the "reflection" colour they did. I never asked for a reflection colour? I was also given a survey which actually made no sense asking ...read more
When first called I explained what I wanted and that I required two tubes for my hair and was told "no no we don't do that" so I hung up, thought I called the wrong place. Called back and asked if they dye hair at all, got a yes, said I required two tubes got a basic quote of $120.
When I attended my appointment, I was told because I had used a wash out it needed to be stripped, I explained that's never had to happen in the past. It was then shampooed and the wash out dye washed out. At payment I was told my hair got bleached and I was to pay an extra $100.
When I got home and saw my hair under normal lighting, its two different colours!!
Ok, so I've figured what I thought was colour remover was the bleach.
I have a big strip of hair that's noticeably lighter down the back of my head.
