Had not eaten at the Crown Inn for a couple of years, previously had enjoyed nice meals. Booked for a family night out recently and we were all disappointed with our food, it seemed that nearly everything had been deep fried, even the vegetables were very ordinary. Service wasn't great, some of us had nearly finished before others were served. The prices didn't reflect the standard of food, quite expensive for what we were served.

Excellent Venue: diverse menu, well priced, flexible with seating & cuisine choice. The meal was plentiful & a taste sensation. Very good service; staff are very eager to please, attentive and friendly, but respectful of ambiance. The log fire, interesting historical decor & occasional live music in the bar, which also offered a pool table. Just a great old fashioned pub (hard to find these days) with none of the obvious annoying modern influences such as pokie machines. Well done!
