The Cuban Place

Great place for relaxing with friends.
The Mojitos seem to be getting a little weak though.

Love this place - especially on a Friday and Saturday night when they do live music with Salsa dancing!
The cheap tacos on Wednesday is also not bad! Cheap tacos and mojitos make my Wednesdays (and my week) much better!

A large Cuban/Latin restaurant bar near QVB. Have a meal, then dance it off. The restaurant has wooden floors with latin themed murals and pictures decorating the walls. Set the mood with some latin back ground music.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The drinks list had a number of cocktails including the famed mojito, there were also a number of South American wines listed. We got the passion fruit mojito which was delicious.
We decided to share some small plates to start including the Elote De La Havana which is grilled corn lolli pops, served with jalepeno aloli, secret sauce and popcorn! Loved it! Totally Cuban vibes up in here. The music is hip twisting and i love the fact they have a sandy floor downstairs, super beachy as. Their tacos (the whole 2 dollaridoos) was just off the planet, like seriously good tacos. Their cocktails were super great (do try their espresso martinis, you will not be disappointed) and the bar staffs are very generous and very friendly.

Just perfect for Sydney, anything with a Latin American twist works well here, so that's the food, the drinks and the music. Expect lots of summer style cocktails and margaritas, salsa music, jazz, happy faces and good food. It's close to transport and the decor is nice, very fresh and modern. Good prices too.
