Also known as: Art Series (The Cullen) Boutique Hotel in the heart of South YarraThe Cullen opened in November 2009 and is the first in a series of luxury hotels from the Art Series Hotel Group.
The Cullen is truely unique; featuring paintings and sculptures from renowned Australian artist Adam Cullen in every suite and throughout the hotel.
Our standard room is anything but standard; with every room in the hotel being a suite. You can choose from either our studio or deluxe options. Each suite features a oversized living space with lounge, dining table, chairs and kitchenette (micowave and hotplates). Ideal if you're staying one night or an entire month.
The Cullen is conveniently located on Commercial Road, just metres from fashionable Chapel Street.
Parking is available under the building

The Cullen would be one of Melbournes top hotels if it wasnt for the noise. We recently stayed for three nights and I was concerned about being located on Commercial Road (which can get noisy on weekends, lots of clubs/bars/restaurants nearby) so requested a room at the rear of the building. The hotel only opened a few months ago and you certainly cant mistake its an art hotel. Adam Cullens work is throughout, in the foyer, in the lifts, throughout the rooms.
