My Mum and i contacted the dame the Tuesday before my Saturday wedding. Like alot of other brides i knew i had lost a bit of weight, but i hadn't expected the shock of seeing my beautiful strapless dress falling off me, and tangling in my feet every time i tried to take a step!! They came to the rescue that night, and spent the following 2 nights fixing my dress. They hand made a new strip of hook and eyes to sew into the bodice and took up the 4 layers of tulle so i could not only walk properly in my dress again, but i was tucked in everywhere and secure enough to party all night without yanking up the bodice as you see alot of brides do in their strapless ...read more
I managed to lose 11 kilos in the 6 months coming up to my wedding and with a strapless dress that was bad news!
Not only did the Dame save me from flashing all my guests at my wedding she also put some magic into my dress so that I wasn't having to haul up the front of it continulously during the day!
She was friendly, professional and FANTASTIC at her job. She really went above and beyond for me even advising me on the jewellery to wear with the dress (and she was dead right!). And to top it all off she really charged me next to nothing for the whole thing!
I would totally reccomend her for wedding dresses and all other clothing alterations!
