The Eathouse Diner

Checked this place out for the first time recently and was very happy with the night. Big recommendation of the eggplant dish, so yum, also the slowcooked lamb with lentils and yoghurt sauce was delicious. Good wines and incredibly friendly staff.

I love this place. It was one of the first hip places in Redfern and now it's surrounded by places. Great service and a happy vibe, the staff are always really helpful. I usually have a bottle of red and their amazing pate. It is awesome. Get the car staff to make a cocktail of their choice and you'll not be disapponited.

The Eathouse Diner is all about Americana style and eccentricity. I really fell in love with this place when it first opened it is so quirky and was one of the few places where you could go in Sydney for an Authentic sit at the bar diner experience.
In saying that the prices for mains sit at the $20-$30 mark so it is more like an upmarket diner experience.
If you live in the area or just really love Americana style cooking this is a really fun place to meet friends for a catch up and cocktail and dinner. Highly recommend.
