If you're in the mood for a great parma, this is the place. The triple cheese made it super juicy and more-ish. My partner had the Eureka burger, which was artery-cloggingly fantastic as well, and cooked a perfectly. The chips were golden and crispy. The trivia nights here are famous and so are the taco nights.
They also do a $15 lunch including a pot I wish I could eat with such complete disregard for my health more often. The service is friendly and food comes out hot and in a jiffy.
I've been here a few times on my wanderings down Victoria Street and I actually quite like the place. It is a rather quiet pub with a bit of character to it that makes me want to stop in for a drink whenever I pass it. Mind you, due to it being fairly quiet meant that a couple of times I've had to wait a bit to get served because the bartender has been off doing something else, but I've never been in a huge rush when I have been here so it has never really bothered me. The food is fairly inexpensive, though since I have only ever had a beer or two here I can't comment beyond that. The last time I was here they were renovating the back room, turning it into a open air area, most likely for the smokers, because prior to that there was only a small balcony. I'm sure to come here again if I am down this way.
