I’m not sure if I can really say that this pub was particularly all that great. Well, it was okay, it just really wasn’t what I would consider all that fantastic. However, they did have some nice beers on tap, which does count for something, however as a pub it really isn’t one that I’m going to be hurrying back to visit again any time soon. Then again, Port Melbourne isn’t really a place that I find myself wandering around all that often.
Very disappointing dinner. There was a small group of us and only 1 person was happy with their meal. Not only did it take 35 minutes on a quiet night but also my gnocchi was hard and my friend ordered the risotto which was very bland and skimpy on the seafood. The service was average- it wouldn't kill to get a smile off a staff member. Overall a place that should be very busy clearly I now can see why it isn't.
