Also known as Seven Hills Tallarook, The Farm Store is a business I am warning everyone against. It's run by a sole trader (who you can look up on the Australian Business Registrar under their publicly available ABN: 89 254 109 380). We bought three urgent items which we needed as soon as possible on November 1, 2017. They cost $77.80, were advertised as in stock, and we received an email telling us that the delivery would take 3-5 days to arrive, after payment. We waited over a month to make sure our order wasn't just late, before contacting The Farm Store to see what had happened. Their Customer Service employee then told us that none of them were in stock, and hadn't been shipped at all. They hadn't even been in stock during the time we made our order. We waited another month before sending another email, asking when our urgent farm equipment would be shipped, only to learn from their Operations Assistant that even a month later they STILL hadn't ...read more
I'd choose zero stars if I could. Ordered a pair of boots 6th December online. No update, no product, nearly 50 days later (30 working days accounting for weekends, public holidays etc) and still no shipment. No ETA either, excuses for 'the warehouses are closed'.. my guess is their suppliers are as sick of them as their customers and aren't supplying anything. Cancelled the order today and was told it will be at least 10 days until I get a refund.
DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE JOKERS
Don't use this store for online shopping. I ordered from here purely because the items were listed as "in stock, ready for delivery", vs other online stores which had them listed as out of stock. After 2 weeks, I emailed for an update. After another 6 days I got a response saying the items would be supplied in 1-2 weeks. 2 weeks later I have rung them and they are hoping to get the stock in next week (!). I have asked for a refund, which they say will be processed either this week or next. Fingers crossed!
I ordered two products that were listed as 'in stock' on their web site. My order was still showing as 'processing' a week later, even though the payment had been processed the following day. I sent several emails asking for the ETA but did not receive any replies. I called them asking if they had products X and Y in stock and they said they didn't, but they could order them in with an expected arrival in several weeks. I then requested to cancel my order with full refund, on the grounds that they had advertised that they were already in stock. She agreed and canceled my order, sending an email to confirm. Another two weeks has passed and I have still not received my refund, nor responses to the subsequent emails sent asking where it is. Now I will have to pursue it through my bank. Their web site still lists these products as 'in stock', indicating that they have no intention of rectifying the issue.
