The Fig Tree@ Eumundi

The Fig Tree is a very modern, stylish licensed-Deli-Restaurant, with the front facing Memorial Drive, and the back to the Eumundi markets. In the entrance there are terracotta floors, a corrugated-iron bar front, and chrome bar stools complimented by lots of natural wood, in counter tops and trims. Delicious cakes feature in one glass cabinet, while another displays quiches, salads, and deli items. The restaurant-proper is a large wrap around, covered in verandah area, with wooden floors and fabulous wooden ceilings. Along one side is a feature tropical garden, the opposite wall is lined with large indigenous paintings, and the table and chairs are in shades of green, creating a relaxed, easy ambience. At the rear is another bar with corrigatted fronts, this one a coffee bar.
