The Fox Hotel

Actually the place was kinda grubby and uninspired. Nearly $20 for a chicken parma and the meal was mostly inedible. The meat was dry and chewy while the outside was hard and overcooked. And the oven-baked string-bean chips were absolutely forgetable. Don't you guys actually have a deep fryer and decent chips? You know, proper chips that are thick and tasy? I can make string-bean chips at home simply by heating frozen chips from the supermarket.

And yeah sure the building is old and of historical value, but inside it was dusty, moldy and rather unpleasant. How about you give it a good clean? Maybe bring back to life any elements of the original building that are still there?

All up, a bit of a dive.

Good selection of tap beers and ciders. Great place for after work drinks and would recommend heading over if near Southbank

Only have been to the roof top bar. It's a pretty nice area to catch up with people however it can get super busy on a Sunday night and the wait time can be up to an hour long...

Great atmosphere on the roof top with alright music. Wish they played better music so one could have a dance...it was more cafe/chilled music. Service is quick and didn't have to wait long in a line for the bar.

I have actually been very impressed with the food at the restaurant and the bar is a fun place to hang with friends. I particularly like the open air upstairs area where you have nice views of southbank area.
