On top of all these skills and framing techniques we have and use to display your items,
there is one big problem in North Queensland that many of us have come across and have had precious items damaged by it.
It's called mould and we all live in this mould incubating environment. Once the humidity reaches a certain level, it activates
the mould spores, like watering the seeds you just planted in your veggie garden.
At The Frame Shop we have a mould fumigation process for already infected frames that are brought in to us.
When framing your work here at The Frame Shop we treat and insert a mould inhibitors to protect your art, certificates etc.
Mould along with UV light would have to be the two main causers of damage to your framed items.
The Frame Shop also stocks UV clear and UV Museum glass for that extra protection.
