The Gables
The Gables provides bed and breakfast and self-contained accommodation in tranquil Campbell Town, Tasmania. Rich with history, The Gables has a friendly country feel. Bed and breakfast accommodation in the main house has bright, comfortable rooms. Built in 1924, it retains the Californian bungalow style of the time, with a deep porch and box bay windows. There are three guest rooms, each with its own art deco original features. All rooms have double beds and individual heating. Relax in a deep claw-foot bath in a private share bathroom. Dotted around the house are several of Bonnie Maloney's original paintings. The modern self-contained cottages give travellers total independence. Each has a double bed and folding couch that converts into twin beds. The cottages sleep four guests comfortably. There is a fully equipped kitchen and peaceful views out to neighbouring farmland.Spend time in The Gables beautiful gardens, perfect for an early-morning stroll to sharpen the appetite for a fine breakfast.
