STAY AWAY from this company unless you want months of stress, frustration, time wasting, unanswered calls and still no garage door after months of follow up.
Paid the deposit in Feb 2019, to this day I still don't have a garage door.
Was finally promised installation on the 3rd May after weeks of phone calls, no one showed up. Upon follow up was told they didn't have possession of my door and they couldn't install. Didn't stop them from taking my money when we booked the installation date.
Tedious daily phone calls to the answering machine and ineffective staff resulting in me requesting a charge back on my credit card.
Was assured of a refund by staff at The Garage Door Shop and given book keepers details, when finally got hold of the book keeper, was told she had no ...read more
Do not recommend this business, never return my calls, ignore my messages after they installed a defective door for me . After a month, still not hear anything back from them . The guy named Mat promised to find out with the manufacturer and call me back but he never calls me back ...so disappointed with their product and service
Unfortunetly I paid in advance for two doors before Christmas, was promised installation 1st week Jan, we are still waiting!!
Nobody returns calls and when you finally get on to them the responce is "we are waiting on the manufacturer" should be there in a couple of weeks I have now had this three times!!!!!
There web say's will install in 24 hours, more like 24 months.
Give them a wide berth shop elswhere. No service!!!!
One of The Garage Door Shop's employees called to service our garage doors on Thursday 30th November. Our three remotes were in perfect working order prior to the service but when he left, only one was working. I rang the next day and explained the situation but the person I spoke to was not interested in our plight, even though the remotes were working before the service person arrived. We live in a Retirement Village and our handyperson will call tomorrow to re-programme the remotes. Needless to say we will not be recommending your business to our many friends in our village.
