The Good Guys

The elder lady working in the kitchen area spoke down to us and made an assumtion that we couldn't afford there custom kitchen without even asking what our budget was or if we had financing already. She kept going on and on about the interest free deal they had but we were cash ready and didn't need it. She didn't seem to be getting the hints that we were looking to install a nice custom kitchen. Ended up going elsewhere.

I have bought a number of household appliances from here and pretty much had the same experience each time. The staff members are on hand to help but I'm not sure how helpful their suggestions are. We recently bought a washing machine from here and it is terrible. After only 2 months a part in it burned out and had to be replaced, this took 2 weeks. After that, I tried to swap out the machine and wanted to chat with the good guys about this considering it was still under warranty. I got no reply, after numerous emails and failed phone call attempts. I am really disappointed at the service after spending so much money here. We were led to the purchase of that particular washing machine and it has been entirely unreliable ever since and the Good Guys don't care.

I have been to this store several times now, either to buy items on the spot, picking up items from an online order, or just simply for browsing. This shop is very spacious and is very easy to get around to once you are used to the slightly busy layout.

The staffs that I have had interactions with were quite friendly and attentive. It might be quite of a game of trying to find someone who could assist you, especially when staffs are only looking after their own sections, but you could always line up at the checkout counter and ask someone to assist). They will try to give you a better deal just by asking the question.

Located in a homemaker type shopping centre, this Good Guys shop is one of the easiest shops to go to as there are plenty of parking spaces available (both outdoor and covered).

Great Experience! We went here after speaking to Bing Lee at Moore Park who tried to tell us the advertised price at The Good Guys was for Victoria only... My wife called and spoke with Brian (who happens to be the owner) who told us the dishwasher we were after was available at the advertised price and for a small charge we could have it delivered the next day. We drove over to Alexandria straight away and spoke to Brian who was busy on the floor helping customers and arranged the purchase of the dishwasher without any worries. We decided to look at a few other items while we were there and recieved help inm every section we went to from the friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. We ended up leaving with a Tom Tom and Nespresso machine as well just because we had been looking at them for a while and the service and price we got here was so good... ended up saving over $400 off the RRP. Well worth it!

Dreadful service. No acknowledgement as I approached the counter with massive box. Continued conversation with other staff. Did not have the time to understand my question or answer with correct information. Would rather shop online or somewhere else with better customer service. Low prices are not the only incentive...customers are right to expect good service when they walk into a store. Such a shame!
