I purchased a new Fisher and Paykel washing machine from this store on Tuesday 24th November in conjunction with quite a few other appliances and they were all delivered on Wednesday 25th November.
The same day they were delivered there was a terrible odour coming from the new washing machine, at this point still unused to such an extent that my laundry was uninhabitable. It progressively worsened over the next day or two and we initially thought there was a dead animal in one of the walls.
I then did some checking on Google to see if anyone else had experienced similar problems with a F&P machine and unfortunately there were many. Bad customer service. Returned an item that was faulty. Small appliance staff gave me another says it's the same when it wasn't. Their attitude was aweful when I returned it the next day.
No eye contact or anything. I've bought over $10k worth of electronics and appliances from this store. And now I won't be going back ever again. You can keep your stuck up staff working there. At least the other store (around the corner) has better customer service skills and a more welcoming environment.
have bought a few items from here though the service has always been poor, I was discussing a buy with a "head sales person" and tried to rip me off on a Catalogue deal by $50 only that I realised it was a cheaper brand he was giving me I "corrected their error". Also I was talking about less for cash and they said no we don't do that anymore even though they have all the signs out the front, Products are good though service is poor and I can find Great products at 3 stores within 2km of this store so I wont be going back.
