Absolutely terrible aftersales service. Having bought a Miele vacuum cleaner from the store, when it developed an issue about 5 weeks after we bought it we thought returning it to the store for an exchange or fix would not be a problem. How wrong we were! We were basically accused by the small appliance person of using the vacuum incorrectly or for commercial purposes, wrong on both accounts. The vacuum had been used for less than 10 hours and for cleaning our home only. We were then told that it wouldn't be covered by warranty, so my wife asked to speak to the manager. The manager arrived with not much of a better attitude and we then basically demanded that the vacuum be sent away to be assessed by a vacuum repair specialist. The outcome being the vacuum was fixed under warranty by Miele. The customer service from the vacuum repair specialist was wonderful; the customer service from The Good Guys was abysmal!
