I paid for something to come by mail order a fortnight ago. They have my money, but I don have my GPS unit. I am disgusted.
Last time i bought something from these people, a Uniden telephone, it stopped working, I took it back and they said they would send me a replacement and i am still waiting. I think they are not a good business to deal with - their service is too slow and their honesty is questionable.
If you know the product is good quality and the price is right, by all means buy from them - but if you want a warrenty claim, go direct to the manufacturer, and not to these people. I found them disappointing.
It was 3/3/2008 when I paid them $208 for a GPS to be posted to me and it is 17-3-2008 today and it is still not here. Postage does not take that long.
My family has been dealing with The Good Guys Tamworth for four years now. Our early dealings were before we moved to Tamworth and so we had to order things and arrange delivery etc. We have NEVER had any problems when dealing with this company and have purchased goods from pretty much all departments over the years. We would thoroughly recommend the store owner and all staff as honest, courteous and efficient. I think it goes almost without saying that warranty claims get referred to the manufacturer rather than the stores these days so I wouldn't regard that as anything out of the ordinary. If you are having problems, I'd suggest they are not because of anything at the Good Guys Tamworth.
