The Good Table

Set in an historic hotel, The Good Table is tastefully refurbished with beautiful wooden floors, good tables to match, and an atmosphere that is comfortable and inviting. The food is delicious, creatively put together and beautifully presented. To tempt you: Battered sardines and cauliflower with caramelised onions; Stuffed Zucchini flowers; Roquette, buffalo Mozzarella, Prosciutto and Peach salad; Zabaglione made with Calvados and served with pears. The wine list offers both local and imported wines, and you can buy a number of the wines by the glass so you can try a few! I just can't say enough good things about this restaurant, and I am not alone - the word is out in Castlemaine that The Good Table is good, very good!. There is something on the menu for everyone, so go to The Good Table for some good food and good wine, and bring some good friends to share the experience!
