The Goods Organic

The Goods Organic is not your run-on-the-mill trendy new cafe you have grown accustomed to. Having been in the cafe scene for many year more than you could have imagined, this shop features original old-school decor like it hasnt heard of the word renovation. It boasts a slightly low light environment if it werent for the natural light coming from the front of the shop. It is the contemporary music on the background that brings this relatively quiet space to life, with the exception of a few front outdoor seats which leases vibrancy from the energy of Crown St.

Nice little cafe with decent food. Unfortunately the staff are disorganised and take far too long to do anything much.

Recommend if you have an hour to wait for a coffee.

Always busy on the weekends and I know why after having brunch here the other day.



I chose to eat the Spanish style eggs, with a little mince, and yummy brown sourdough bread. The coffee is yummy too.



The salads and sweets on the counter look delish, so its a good place for lunch too.

Really nice guy behind the counter (think it's his business), but I was dissapointed to find the service really slow. Only ordered a coffee and piece of toast for takeaway, and it was over 20 mins coming. There were only a few other customers, and some had arrived after me. On a positive note, the space is really great inside - lots of wood, and little reading nooks to enjoy. I may have got him on a bad day - but in the morning before work, there service has to be snappier. I will try again however. He was pleasant, nice atmosphere, and good organic products.
